What did I do at Airbnb?

To summarize eight years of work is impossible… but here’s my attempt. I worked with amazing people, traveled the world, and had an absolute blast. I helped launch our IPO, interviewed a U.S. Senator, and opened four offices. I teamed up with talented designers to create stickers, t-shirts, posters, and one beautiful bandana. I produced a 30-minute documentary in seven days, worked on three podcast series, and once hired the world’s fastest-talking woman.

I redesigned a bathroom, ran the New York Marathon that we sponsored, and covered a 5,000-person event in Paris. I convinced Cookie Bear to become Pizza Bear, hosted an elaborate scavenger hunt, and crafted stories with three Olympians. I raised money for nonprofits, organized events, and hired an incredible street musician to serenade10 guests at a dinner party.

I worked with brilliant filmmakers in China, Paris, and South Korea, onboarded new employees, and conducted over 100 core values interviews. I coordinated a legendary pie-to-the-face moment, sang Mother by Danzig in front of 1,500 people, and co-created Tell Me About It. I hosted our May 24th launch in a sleeveless dress shirt, documented the creation of our Experiences business, and helped facilitate a George Clinton autograph. I demolished an office, brought in Aaron Draplin as a guest speaker, and rescued a dog from a burning car…I did all of this with the help of my incredible peers.

I made mistakes, created some pretty cool stuff, and built lasting friendships.
